Intro to Trad

So you want to go down the rabbit hole you say? Well, this is the perfect place to begin. Traditional climbing takes years to master but you need to start somewhere. You could just “go for it” but when it’s your life on the line, that’s probably not the best attitude to have. I may be biased but believe me, a few days under the wing of an AMGA Rock Guide will pay off tenfold. This course will give you a solid foundation upon which to continue building your skills.

I try to spend a minimum of two days for my Intro to Trad course but honestly, even after two days, we have barely scratched the surface. Like all of my courses, everything is completely customizable and I have had some guests book up to a week with me to give us enough time to learn the basics, practice in a controlled environment, and then go live out on the cliffs.
