The Black Canyon
The Black Canyon offers some of the most remote multi-pitch climbing the United States has to offer, with over 1,500 foot-tall cliffs. The day starts with a combination of hiking and rappelling down into the canyon and proceeds with climbing our way out. The Black Canyon is one of Colorado’s hidden gems.
The climbing season is limited in The Black Canyon; it’s primarily open Spring and Fall (May and October) due to high temperatures in the bottom of the canyon.
